If you are a fan of rich and delicious French cuisine, you are not alone. From roast chicken and crunchy baguettes to steaming hot crêpes and champagne, French cuisine is one of my all-time favorites. Lucky for me, there are plenty of delicious options to enjoy when I am on a Walt Disney World vacation searching out delectable French menu options. You don’t have to book a flight to Disneyland Paris to enjoy French food in a Disney Park or Disney Resort!

Obviously, foodie fans need to drop by the France Pavilion in EPCOT’s world showcase to indulge in delicious French dishes, quick-service eateries like La Crêperie de Paris, and table service restaurants like Chefs de France. But did you know there are French dishes that you can enjoy across the property? Let’s talk about some of the best French food at Walt Disney World!

We can’t chat about French food without talking about the delicacy, escargot. Not everyone is into snails, but they are a French classic! We recommend you drop by Topolino’s Terrace-Flavors of the Riviera at Disney’s Riviera Resort to eat the Escargot en Gougères. Served up the traditional way in its shell, this yummy appetizer is made with butter, garlic, lemon, and parsley in an effort to complement the natural flavor of the dish without overpowering the meat.  Ringing in at $17 this appetizer is the perfect start to a meal. If you’ve never taken the plunge and tried escargot, this is the place to do it.

Is there any starter more delicious than French onion soup? The robust flavor of caramelized onions perfectly combined with a rich beef broth and laden with hearty baguette chunks before being smothered with Gruyère cheese makes for one heck of a delicious soup. Chefs de France in EPCOT does this dish really well. In fact, I’ve never visited this table service restaurant without purchasing a bowl of steaming hot French onion soup.
However, you can also enjoy this French delicacy at Be Our Guest Restaurant in Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom. Available on the lunch and the dinner menu, French Onion soup at Be Our Guest Restaurant is every bit as delicious and makes for the perfect hearty meal or starter on a winter day in the parks.

One of the most famous main courses in French cuisine known to Americans is Boeuf Bourguignon. This rich dish consists of tender beef braised in Cabernet wine alongside baby onions and carrots. When done right, this dish is the epitome of comfort food and is a flavorful and delicious taste of French culture.
Boeuf Bourguignon is my go-to entrée when dining at Chefs de France in EPCOT. Coming in at $32.95 this entrée is heavy and large enough to share, but you probably won’t want to. The braised beef is swimming in a rich Cabernet sauce base with fresh vegetables served over buttery pasta. It doesn’t get much more satisfying than this classic main course.

Another French classic you cannot visit EPCOT World Showcase without tasting is a Croque Monsieur. Drop by Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in the France pavilion to taste this hearty meal. This quick-service restaurant gives the feel of a traditional French boulangerie and has options for Guests like different types of sandwiches, soups, and bread bowls, and an array of incredible pastries.
The house-made bread on the Croque Monsieur makes the sandwich particularly difficult for me to pass up. This toasted ham and cheese sandwich is so incredibly fresh, and it rings up at $9.25. If you’re looking for an authentic snack you can buy a baguette baked fresh for $3.50 or if you are sharing with a smaller group purchase half a baguette for $2.25. Pair this with an imported cheese plate for $11.95, and you have one delicious and authentic French snack.
When it comes to desserts, the choice is difficult to make. The chocolate mousse is one of the most decadent desserts in this restaurant. Coming in at $6.50, it has long been a chocolatey favorite of mine on Walt Disney World vacations. That said, if you are looking for a light or fruity dessert I suggest a macaron lime raspberry, this light, and delicious macaron is filled with raspberry and lime cream.
If you’d like to sample several macarons, consider purchasing the macaron collection for $11.95. Best case scenario, you visit this quick-service French restaurant with friends, order different desserts and entrées and share, so you can have a taste of all of it. You won’t be sorry you did!

Is there anything more French feeling than indulging in a decadent crêpe? Just a short walk away from Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, you will find this our next delicious theme park eatery. We recommend that you visit Le Crêperie de Paris to enjoy some of the most decadent savory galettes and crêpes you’ve ever tasted. This quick-service eatery serves up savory crêpes known as galettes and sweet crêpes inspired by the unique cuisine found in the Brittany region of France.
You could easily make a meal here. In fact, the prix fixe menu offers a choice of soup of the day or salad along with a glass of hard cider or wine and a dessert crêpe for only $34.95. This casual dining spot has an incredible French feel and serves up such delicious food, you won’t be sorry you visited.
Ready to enjoy Croque Monsieur’s sweeter dessert cousin? Head over to L’Artisan des Glaces to enjoy this ice cream dessert. This delicious dessert consists of a scoop of your choice of ice cream and your choice of sauce pressed into a warm homemade brioche bun. This unique French ice cream sandwich is only $9.50 and when we tell you it is transformative — it is so delicious! Coffee ice cream, mango sorbet, caramelized pecan ice cream, chocolate ice cream, mint chocolate ice cream, and caramel fleur de sel ice cream are the top flavors I am opting for over my next couple of visits to this ice cream stop in EPCOT.

There is a reason France is known for spectacular wines. There is no way we are going to embark on a day eating and drinking around the world at EPCOT World Showcase and not indulge in a regional wine in France. We recommend you visit Les Vins des Chefs de France, to pick out some bubbly or one of the delicious slushes to sip near the fountain in the France pavilion.
You’ve probably seen the orange slush in photos online, and of course, carried around by Guests as they explore World Showcase. Guests purchase the orange slush in droves for good reason, it’s absolutely delicious! This beverage of blended Grand Marnier, Grey Goose Orange, and orange juice comes in at $14.50 and is incredibly delicious and refreshing. The citron slush is another great option, made with lemonade vodka and Grey Goose Citron.
If you are a wine lover, we suggest chatting with the Cast Members at the order stand to get their take on the regional wines available. Sure, you may have an affinity for red over white or not be a huge fan of rosé, but if you are open to trying new things, it’s always a great idea to ask Cast Members to recommend their favorite drink for you to try.
And there you have it! A list of my favorite French foods to eat during my time at the Most Magical Place on Earth. Hopefully, you have a chance to try some on your next Walt Disney World vacation.
