The French airline has teamed up with the popular beauty line to offer a spectacular new spa service.
Last week, Air France partnered with the famous beauty company Clarins to make those travelling through Air France's lounge in New York JFK feel extra comfortable.
Currently, Air France uses JFK Terminal 1 and offers an Air France-KLM Lounge in the same terminal. However, from now on, passengers using the lounge will have access to Clarins spa and relaxation booths where customers have time to feel completely relaxed.
La Première, Business and Flying Blue Elite Plus customers currently have access to the Air France lounge. Bathed in light, this space, which was completely redesigned in 2018, offers a serene and soothing atmosphere.
In a statement, Air France said:
“two cosy private beauty booths where they can choose from a selection of three complimentary face treatments lasting 20 minutes: “Jet Lag Relief’, “Detox time”, and “Eye-Must” treatments. These beauty rituals for men and women, designed to relieve tension and promote relaxation, are proposed for 30 minutes to La Première customers exclusively, who can also enjoy a “Relax and Reset” treatment designed by Clarins for Air France. Clarins professionals transport passengers into a world of intense well-being by providing expert care combined with high-end products rich in plant extracts.”
The spa will open daily at JFK from 14:00 until 22:00. Passengers wishing to use the service may book at the Clarins desk at the reception in the lounge, and La Première customers can also book this treatment by calling their dedicated phone line.
Speaking on the current partnership between Clarins and Air France, the airline said:
“For 17 years, Clarins has been pampering Air France’s Business customers at every stage of their trip. Upon their arrival at the airport, they enjoy free access to the spas in the company’s lounges in terminals 2E (halls K, L and M) and 2F at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport as well as at New York-JFK. Onboard, each customer receives a comfort kit containing a mini Clarins Hydra-Essential Cooling Gel and a mini Hand & Nail Treatment Cream. The Eau Dynamisante spray and Soothing Toning Lotion from the French cosmetic brand are readily available for customers to use until they reach their destination. “
The national carrier of France has been serving the JFK to New York route since 1946. Air France this winter will offer nine daily flights between the two cities. The airline will offer a “shuttle” service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and New York-John F. Kennedy (JFK) with six daily flights operated by Air France, four of which will offer the La Première cabin, and two daily flights served by its partner Delta Air Lines.
Air France will also launch a daily non-stop service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and New York-Newark Liberty Airport (EWR), the second-largest international airport serving New York and the surrounding area, on December 12th, 2022.
Air France offers a good quality product in its international service with Delta Air Lines. Air France said:
“La Première suite… [with] a wide seat that transforms into a lie-flat bed more than 6.5 feet long. With Michelin-starred menus signed by Anne-Sophie Pic, a carefully curated wine and champagne list, a wide choice of entertainment on high-definition screens and attentive service, all guests travel in optimal comfort and style.”
Air France launched a new business class product which debuted this autumn. Air France designed the cabin with 3 F’s in mind: Full Flat, Full Access, and Full Privacy.
The cabin is in a 1-2-1 configuration and looks spectacular.
